Yea I thought they should have called both teams, but hey they didn't. LSU should have played defense. They backed off and let the recievers run easy 5-10 yard out routes instead of being aggressive. I hate when teams do that.

good job of discussing the facts. I really appreciate how you go out of your way with counter points instead of labeling and all.

It's runningTiger. He's been trolling with his sunshine pumping all season. Hasn't found his way here yet, but probably will eventually. He's horrible but he's a trip

was sitting right there. There was pushing and shoving from both sides BUT our push was like a delayed push after a couple seconds and I believe that's where it made the difference on it just being a PF on us.

There was pushing and shoving back and forth all night long after every play. The refs never took charge of it and let it go on all night. Early on, they should have issues off-setting penalties to put a stop to it...but they didn't. Then, after watching it go on all night, they decided to throw a flag at that particular moment......shocking.

I did this the other night on the LSU Scoreboard and apparently that was a mistake. The only legitimate beef LSU fans had was one admittedly bad spot and the touchback call. I agreed that those were bad calls, similar to those I see every game.

As to the rest, proving a noncatch with a still photograph is sketchy, when even the LSU coaches in the booth told CLM it was a catch. The complaints about pass interference calls were ridiculous; the refs were letting them play on both sides and the noncalls here cost Bama seven points. The personal foul call was accurate although the timing was bad.

But this guy runningtiger is a loon when he complains about the spot of the ball after the unsportsmanlike conduct calls on each team. He doesn't understand the rule, doesn't want to understand the rule, and the refs applied the proper rules as to down and distance in each case.

The ultimate irony is with two big penalties in the overtime Alabama had to overcome referee's calls in the most pressure-packed environment imaginable. They executed anyway. LSU did not. That is why LSU lost the game, not the officials.

Also in regards to the sportsmanlike, it should have been offsetting, but who knows what they saw. and how often is it only the second guy? you can't react.

There is a video of Ragland asking about his bare arse and he said he couldn't react and possibly hurt his team. He seems to have a great head for football.

The fact that they don't realize this says everything you need to know

What in the frick is he saying? One of our players was trying to sexually abuse Vadal? I think he needs to take a closer look at the guy who pantsed Ragland.

To be fair, half or more of the LSU responses are sane, logical, and not supportive of his tin foil.

Truthfully, the personal foul if called at all should have been offsetting.

Agreed. Ritter saw the whole thing, 'Bama guy kind of tugging on Alexander, Alexander shove him away, and was not going to call anything. That's why I don't understand him not over-ruling the umpire by insisting it was a double foul which is certainly in his power to do at that point. They may still have had to settle for a field goal but the officials should not be influencing the game in that manner. By the way I was less than fifty yards away from the play on the ensuing 'Bama drive where the receiver caught the first down pass on his knees, falling forward. It did look like the ball was pinned against the ground and it was surprising that it did not draw a review.

I think running might be legit retarded. In a thread on the Rant, he posts a gif of the E. Jackson pick. He claims there should have been an illegal contact flag as the DB hit the receiver more than 5 yards down field. The WR is clearly shown lined up past the 41 yd line stripe and Jackson checks him short of the 45 yd line.

He also claims it should have been PI. Running, was the WR hit twice on the same play? How can there be two flags for one incident? (I know, he's blatantly wrong on both counts. But the whole structure of his whine is flawed.)

What's funny is in other threads of Rantards slamming Jennings, they claim Jennings didn't throw the ball until AFTER the WR fell. They need to get their complaints synched up over there.

How do you know that the refs hadn't given the players a verbal warning about that stuff prior to the push? The ref sees the push and the Bama player fall back and throws the flag.
