I can see why PETA would be pissed at UGA though. Your history with Ugas is suspect at best. I guess it's breeding troubles that causes the untimely deaths. I hope they get a new bloodline in so Ugas live longer.

When I saw the the eagle hit the press box getting a dumb letter like this was like the third thing I thought about.
Like others have said, I can get behind the idea of PETA b/c there are people out there that seriously mistreat animals and that should be stopped, but they need to get their prioritites straight. Our eagles, UGA, Bully, Smokey, Mike, etc have pretty sweet set-ups. They need to STFU about stuff like that and focus on actual cruelty.

like richt the seilers are on the hot seat. one more early death and the university i think will look elsewhere and that would create all kinds of hell, lawsuits, and would end the seilers prominence. i mean all that family does is stuff for Uga
i agree, we need new blood in there but i think really what you have seen is just bad luck. our Ugas have been fine just a recent string of bad luck like the program itself
