It's just baffling that the best conference in CFB by far can't hire competent, unbiased officials.

Outside of money, is there a reason conferences couldn't make officiating a full time job? These TV deals are in the billions of dollars now...you would think they could deploy a very small amount of that to employing officials. It's crazy to think a sport that commands so much revenue leaves game-changing decisions in the hands of part time workers

They are going to need to do something because of betting. What happened last night in UGA-GT affected the spread in a major way. I don’t think the refs were doing it because of that. I think they were doing it to help ACC look better especially after Louisville’s loss. However, these conferences are going to find themselves across the table from a federal lawyers with the betting implications.

I anticipated and already addressed literally every limp dick argument you would make in my initial post, except for this one which was so dumb it would have been impossible to anticipate:

quote:

. If the defender initialized contact with his helmet to young’s helmet that’s targeting. If he initializes contact with his left arm/hand, it’s not targeting.

Ok, cool. Glad you laid that out for us so plainly. Go to 29 second mark. You can literally see defender's entire arm/hand swinging in the air freely, until he clutches Young well after and deep into the unflagged dirty hit. You just conceded the issue right there in the quote above. Holy shite you are one dumb frick. I'm out, enjoy marinating on your own dumbassery.

It sounds like he is just incompetent as opposed to corrupt, like so many officials are for Bama.

LDU's game winning touchdown last year:

And another...

Then there's this...

And not to mention you conveniently omit the fact that Bama was also fricked by the officials all night against Auburn too.

It's scary knowing you unwashed braindead boomer retards actually vote... and you don't even have to tell me which party you vote for either because you've already said it with your unabashed ignorance.

You never even considered the possibility that the defender initiated contact with his left hand before helmet to helmet contact and it’s literally the most important issue at hand

Go to 29 second mark. You can literally see defender's entire arm/hand swinging in the air freely, until he clutches Young well after and deep into the unflagged dirty hit

You must be looking at a different clip, because the 29 second mark on the video you poster shows the defenders left arm gripping Young. The defenders left arm is obscured the few moments before the 29 second mark. From what you posted there is no way to know if the defender initiated contact with his hand or helmet. Which is the most salient issue at hand

I'm out, enjoy marinating on your own dumbassery.

You spent your morning arguing about targeting without realizing that if the defender initiated contact with his arm everything else is moot. And that the clip you provided is inconclusive as to what happened. I’d recommend pivoting to something else as well

A Bama fan complaining about officiating? We have come full circle.

I honestly and still bewildered as to how Auburn has three men in motion at the same time but Bama got called for offsides...

LSU fan and Auburn dad here: I was a bit bewildered by that call.

Now, it's not unusual for that shift to happen just like it did, with a tight end and H-back moving to the other side of the formation.

In this case, however, it sure looked like Thorne clapped his hands, which is the indicator that he's calling for the snap.

If a cornerback 30 yards from the center clapping his hands is called delay of game for "Disconcerning Signals" (called on both Mizzou and LSU in their game this year), then that clap by Thorne immediately followed by two players shifting has to be seen as a call for the snap.

Should have been false start, IMHO.

I didn’t watch much of your game last night. I had a better game to watch.

Your little Tennessee video proves what? If you say it was targeting, I may never stop laughing at the hypocrisy.

As for your still shot of the 2 pt conversion, check out the video.

And I vote Republican, of course.
