The Tenn WR jumped into the Bama DB and turned around after making contact. What a terrible call. The WR didn’t even act like he wanted a flag.

From the Tennessee Alabama game last year

That game was ridiculous - the refs gave Alabama a free touchdown after a Bama wr threw a db and this shite crew called defensive pass interference. Not even accounting for all the holding which Bama gets away with every game. With a competent officiating crew 2022 UT beats Alabama by double digits.

It is definitely time for the SEC to improve the officials and stop this Bama bias

Officiating seems to be going to crap across the board.

The Bama wr grabbed and threw the defender. Even Gary Danielson called it out

Gary danielson admitted it was a shite call for Bama. Think about that

Fair officiating and UT wins that game by double digits and everyone who watched knows it

As a person who just wanted to see a good game the officiating seemed horrible both ways. The moment seemed too big for the crew and they were totally overwhelmed. They were in their minds deciding when to call things. They were thinking about each call and whether they should make it or let it ride. Embarrassment for the SEC

Are you also going to complain about the numerous hits Young took to the head that was never called? What about them trying to give Tenn an extra down?

We all agree the officiating was shite. Don’t try to act like it’s one sided bro.

Worst officiating I’ve ever seen. Stole the game from Auburn. Auburn second to last drive they didn’t call targeting against Thorne. Then two personal fouls.

They caused a fight at the end of the game from Bama cheap shots. Offensive pass interference. Face mask etc

I think them missing the face mask caused them to call the game differently going forward. Once it was obvious (it was replayed on the big screen repeatedly) it was like they started “shooting from the hip” on calls.

No shite, what a dumb comment. No one disagrees that they missed an offsetting penalty there. But did you see how many potentially huge calls they missed that screwed Bama?

Exactly, everyone in my house was just excited to get what we thought would be an offsetting penalty because of the block in the back. When they resumed play almost everyone said some version of "what?" And started looking around when only Auburn was penalized.

Even Gary said “here comes a make up call” referring to the face mask no call.
Ridiculous.

Congrats on being the 100th Bama fan that doesn’t understand the rules

Touching a players helmet isn’t an automatic penalty, even if it’s a QB. Those plays you think were penalties weren’t because Young wasn’t a defenseless player at the time. I’ve posted the rules before and tried to explain it and all y’all do is melt

Oh they are terrible at their jobs all right. This example shows that they were dumb, but ultimately made the right call and didn’t help UT

Every fanbase in the SEC says the exact same thing about the refs helping Bama. Every single one. And they’ve been saying it for over 10 years

But no, you’re right. Everyone else is wrong and you’re right

I think even Bama fans can admit they got away with an egregious no call on that face mask.

Of course it was a bad call. What is funny though is it was the least impactful call of the game. AU went 3 and out right after it. The rest of the game was a shite show of highly impactful 3rd down drive killing or extending calls.

I think these are the guys who didn’t give LSU a TD in the Missouri game even though the pile of players was five yards into the endzone.

They need to go but they aren’t the only ones

Every other fan base in the SEC also hates Alabama with a passion given that it is by far the most dominant team in conference history. So yea the rest of the conference fans are completely unbiased neutral observers during a Bama game and would never lean towards cheering for the underdog to beat them.

The ref crew in the UT Vandy game last night should never work again. Their incompetence was the cause of all the fights.

But you’re not the most dominant team in the SEC. Georgia is. Has been for years and it’s not even close.

Show me the threads where fanbase after fanbase says that the refs are biased to Georgia. Show me.

Bama fans are like children sticking fingers in their ears, stomping their feet, and repeating to themselves that they are right and everyone else is wrong

Maybe the conference can add a commercial or 2 during the game and use the revenue to hire professionals instead of the hobby model used in youth football. Fans for sure wouldn’t realize 20 extra ads a game with as many as we endure as it is.

A QB whose arm is still going forward from just throwing a pass is not by definition defenseless?

Goddamn you are a dumb frick. I can’t believe you wrote out all that just to show you don’t understand the rule.

Even after Vols were gifted that game, Bama is on an unprecedented 16-1 win streak. How much worse will it get for UTk? 20 wins with one asterisk loss? 30? 50?
