I think it’s legal, and A&M is getting organized. Other schools will adapt or die

The guy asked for NIL *DEALS* - not "speculate on how much ATM spent on their class" or "have Jimbo talk generally about NIL" or "show an ATM press release that they are organizing student athlete programs supporting NIL".

You posted ZERO deals, and half of them aren't even real journalism. Your links are all non sequitur. Do you get what people are asking for?

So the NCAA consults you on legal matters? If not, your opinion and $1 will get you a cup of coffee

You might want to reread NCAA rules on NIL

BYU and Miami investigation

aTm is also supposedly under investigation by the NCAA for pay for play

A&M is the Darth Vader of college football. They are the only university that created a NIL program. They stole this recruiting cycle away from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, ND, UT, OSU, etc, etc, etc, who decided to obviously not have a NIL program for the good of college football. : Obviously their 500,000 plus alumni was supposed to understand the fear they’d create if they ever united for a common goal.

Bottom line is A&M has sent notice that the landscape is forever changed. Instead of hiding in the shadows with hidden bagmen they’ve decided to sit in the big chair at head of the table, prop their feet up, light the cigar, and to everyone else.

The real question shouldn’t be about A&M but rather do the old dogs have the backing to compete for a seat at the new table? Do the universities in the northern or western conferences have the resources or desire to compete? The SEC pendulum will continue to swing to each other.

I specifically asked about current players

Nothing that impressive.

Demas got a condom deal. Not sure what they paid him.

Foster got a local scooter deal. Think they gave him a free scooter.

Leal got a car from some dealer in Louisiana.

Several players got $10k each for sponsored interviews with TexAgs.

They all used CC Creations to produce terrible personalized shirts (think knock off gas station gear) that Aggies lined up to buy during the season.

Couple guys got deals with local restaurants.

Again, nothing impressive. Certainly not what’s driving the recruiting momentum (at least I hope not; if so we’re behind).

The new TexAgs initiative will be helpful.

JFC, Yeah…

All those guys from TN, FL, LA, AZ, PA, 3 from GA, Dallas, Beaumont, Sweden…10 of your top 15 recruits just wanted to be part of that Houston movement.

You bought the best class ever and called it NIL even though that’s not legal in Texas. Just own it, the NCAA isn’t going to do shite about it.

The only reason this is even an issue is it’s A&M and not the Alabamas, Georgias, OSUs, and LSUs of the world. Pretty sad this is even an issue NOW that it is an “outsider” who did it.

Notice something interesting about three of the four teams you listed?

How do you know this? Surely the Aggie pack of retards, as this board believes, wouldn’t have out smarted everyone?

Yes, are you implying many of those players from those championship team were not paid? You know as well as I do that was not the case. Winning definitely made it easier to hide the money trail excuses while recruiting. Unlike those times A&M obviously said F it and “here is what we are offering.” A&M shouldn’t have to apologize or defend themselves because they seized the forefront position on how to capitalize on the new NIL landscape.
