or Pennsylvania? The privately funded ivy league school with the "University of" moniker?

Or Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Alaska.

We must have this information present before giving the game serious consideration.

What is the flagship of New York, and New Jersey?

Rutgers is actually called "Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey."

Because Montana, Alaska, Pennsylvania, and New York are in the south, right?

So your entire thread is intentionally inaccurate--the very definition of a troll post--yet you've called out two different posters for being bitches.

You are a professor, which is the flagship of California?

I've heard mainly UCLA and Berkley lay claim to the title.

I know very little about IHEs in California; but I assumed it was the U Cal System that was the flagship.

A&M and Texas are both Flagship Universities in Texas, that is how it was structured. We also have a larger research spend than any University for 1000 miles in any direction, including that smaller and newer school in Austin.

He knows that (re: flagship statuses is Texas).

Time to call it a day.

Yeah, I honestly didn't know.
States definitely vary in their post-secondary educational structure; which is why the OP's thread borders on being a strawman.
