Let's clear the air on Carson Beck

Beck has played three top ten teams on the road this season so far.
Among SEC QB's, his stats are:
#3 in yards per game
#6 in yards per attempt
#4 in completion percentage
#6 in QB rating
There's 16 starting QB's in the SEC.
He also led the team to it's 3rd consecutive 12-0 regular season last year, then set an NCAA record for biggest bowl beat down in history, outdoing their previous record of the TCU beat down (but that was Bennett, not Beck).
I want the SECRant, including some delusional Georgia fans, to tell me why Carson Beck is trash.
Tell me. Explain it to me. I want to learn.

Carson Beck isn’t trash,
However, he is very average and pales in relation to the number-one-overall-QB-and-first-pick-in-the-draft that he was projected to be.

He’s playing QB for the most loaded team in CFB. Poor guy.

Beck is what Stetson was supposed to be.
The serviceable backup that the team made better and hopefully didn’t have to play hero ball except for 1-2 times a year ala Greg McElroy. Carson plays like a seasoned walk-on on a very good team. End of story.

I think throwing Beck under the bus now will have a lot of Georgia fans eating crow when he shows out as the season goes on. He’s shown he can play in this conference. The ugly road games he has under his belt will help late in the season. Before the last 4 weeks Beck hadn’t played a great team on the road, and it’s shown.
Comparing to last year is a little bit of a fallacy. It’s clear as day he was much better last year bc Georgia had arguably best pass protection in the country. That’s taken a step back this year and Beck has clearly struggled from it. He rushes throws. Misses easy completions that have turned into Ints and is a bit jumpy with his reads bc he doesn’t have the best receiver in the nation in Bowers on the field. And yes, I said receiver, the guy is currently tearing up the NFL with sub standard QB play in Oakland.
Georgia will jell more as the season goes on. I don’t expect Beck to continue being the pic machine he has been lately.

Apparently all Georgia needs is a qb like him or Bennett to manage the loaded offense. No knock against him intended because he’s better than average.

Not trash, but if we are gonna be what we want to be, needs to improve a great deal. Mediocre QB play makes us mediocre....you know...like Tennessee.

I'm pretty sure he'd start at Kentucky. Just based on who is starting at Kentucky.
