I will congratulate fans after their team beats my team as a sign of respect for their team.
But nobody deserves congratulations for simply supporting a team. That isn’t your accomplishment. If your self worth is tied to the team you support then that is sad. Maybe try accomplishing something yourself.

Overall, this thread has reinforced my opinion that most SEC fans love Nick Saban and admire Alabama.
I bet just about all of them will watch Bama annihilate Michigan in the Bama Bowl in Pasadena. They wouldn't miss it.

Oklahoma fans don't understand many things about being the fans of a quality football team over the course of history.
It just means more. Football is not important to Oklahoma fans.

There may be a few iodiotic goofballs in this heep of a forum but, overall, I think the sampling of posters here are very respresentative of most SEC fans.
