Would I have a problem with a rematch if Bama won? Hell yes I would, for the exact same reasons you guys do, but lets not pretend your angst is anything but what it really is, and that's a legitimate fear of playing the only team capable of beating you. You guys have enough quality wins this season to usually put two crystal balls in the case, but you got one more summit to climb, and I relish the opportunity.

Yeah because Bama has nothing to lose because they already lost. Bama is the Boise State of this year because they really shouldnt be in the position they are in because they wont win their conference and they are just lucky to be in the NC because every other team lost in front of them. And most people are capable of beating others...those are called upsets. I think we saw that when Georgia Southern rolled up like 200+ rushing yards on yall.

And if this is what happens. Yall better be ready, because I guarantee our players will be.

Have you seen that they jumped OSU from 5th to 3rd? They're setting them up to pass you when they beat oklahoma...

I've been saying all along that if we KNOW that Bama is the second best team and we KNOW that LSU beat Bama. Then the pollsters should do what is right and vote Bama second after we skull frick OSU. The premise that the BCS is designed to put the best team against the second best team should be rejected. The BCS is designed to determine the best team. It was needed so that the two best teams that hadn't yet played, played each other (see conference tie-ins for more information see also the Rose Bowl). LSU has played Bama. It's function now is to test LSU against the best remaining opponent. You are second best, apparently in Alabama that means something. Go lobby for second place votes for after the season.

Pretty sure everybody rather LSU play someone else because they already beat Bama. Why have to do it twice.

Is Bama's reputation and notoriety that big that in order for LSU to win now they have to beat them twice. Guess Bama is the only team now that has a double elimination schedule

if you want these sweaty cajun balls in your face once again, this time, AWAY FROM HOME, you know where to find us. come and get you some more, breh. no one is 'scared' of aj mccarron having to make a crucial throw in a championship game. guy is so awesome that marquise maze was the one throwing the ball towards the end zone. is trent gonna carry the ball 50 times? you really want another taste of this? come and get it. this train ain't gonna be stopped by nobody.

I am a Bama fan and I am really amused by all the whinning and moaning about the possiblility of a rematch. The BCS was designed to have the two top rated teams face each other in a National Championship. Not the two best teams. Not the teams from the best conferences. Not the teams that have played the toughest schedule or had the most impressive victories — or losses for that matter. Not the top-rated teams that have not already met in the regular season or won a conference championship. That's it period. I don't blame you guys for not wanting to play us again, you barely made it out of T-Town. Having said that, if we don't play you for the championship, I will support you against whoever you play. I have a lot of relatives who went to LSU, and the only time I'm against you, is when Bama plays you. But if we DO get another chance, put on your big girl panties and quit crying about it.

Be advised:
1. Though barely, the Tide did NOT make it out of their home field.

2. Oklahoma State, if they beat the Sooners, may benefit from some anti-Bama backlash which resists a guaranteed SEC National Champion. They will have played a conference championship(an opportunity which Alabama will not enjoy) and some voters will believe OSU has earned second place.

3. You fool yourself if you think that LSU does not welcome the opportunity to beat the Tide again and put an end to the never ending "Bama beat itself" argument referring to the 9-6 score.
In that looking glass world of reason and logic, Alabama has never lost a single game and has never been beaten, except to themselves and by themselves.
LSU's defense shoved you out of field goal range, beat on your offense and had plenty of gas left for several overtimes, while the Tide's players were gassed and beat up. You were beaten by a small margin in OT, but beaten nonetheless, and, by a better team.

So, put some clean panties on and get ready for the rematch, if you get the chance at it.
