I thought gumps had the craziest fans but after listening to some of the callers last night talk about what the tigers needed to do to be successful and what Les should've done I'm not so sure.

I used to live in New Orleans and the local sports radio was filled with gems.

Granted I didn't listen to the show but I would hardly call our fans crazy for complaining. It would be one thing if we just had a bad gameplan, but we literally had the same gameplan from every game of the last 5 years.

I just don't see how someone can watch the same result everytime a play is called, see MSU stacking the box to stop that play, and think to themselves "it will probably work this time". How does the phrase go? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The love/hate relationship with Les and LSU fans is very entertaining.

Okay comparing those fans to gumps is just plain stupid. Les deserves all the critism he is getting. He is stubborn and running a shite show for an offense and the defense isn't any better. This is LSU not MSU we are not happy about the state he is putting the program in. We are used to playing for titles, and they way he has things looking it could be a long time coming before LSU sniffs a championship.

Why is this newsworthy? There's not a coach in modern LSU history that hasn't taken a beating after a loss. It comes with the territory as LSU head football coach.

he got grinded harder by the fans than by MSU and that is saying something. Maybe he and Jennings can book a flight to Michigan together.

I sure hope not. We don't want Les going anywhere. Cut the man some slack, coonasses!

I wanna give you one point, too, about winning. Winning is a thing that is inherent with how you were raised. It’s something you carry with you for a lifetime. And to pretend that it’s brought or deposited at a place and left, it is not. It is always carried with the participants of the people that are there. Period. Just, in discussion.

Insanity is the word that you're looking for.

No news to me. There are some idiots in every fanbase, but the Tiger faithful are up there with the Gumps in terms of vocal idiots.

that was child's play compared to Curley Hallman's show. Not that it wasn't justified, but the callers on Hallman's show were just brutal.

We all know Les is stubborn. We have know this since he has been here. This should come as no surprise to any Tiger fan. I love Les because he does it his way and he wins!!

You can not lose the number of underclassmen we have lost the last 2 years and not expect to feel that. This team is young and we will just have to go through the growing pains. We will be fine! Please stop with the "LSU" is the only fan base that goes off like this. It is really getting old!!
