And yet Les always received the short end of the stick.

How did Bama do between Stallings and Nick? What did ya'll fans believe ya'll were?

We did better than most teams do during their down years.

We somehow won a conference championship with one of the worst coaches to ever grace an SEC sideline. Mike Shula managed to win 10 games in a season one time, as did Franchione.

During that 10-year span between Stallings and Saban, we were on probation for all but a few years of it. We knew we were a sleeping giant.

Saban and Bryant weren't considered legends until they coached at Alabama. I think that says something about the program.

You sure it wasn't because he lost to Auburn and started 2-2 with one of his most talented teams?

Last night's Auburn game was the final straw, but his inability to compete at the same level as Saban ultimately cost him his job.

Fixed. Quit acting like Saban is Alabama. You'll be back to the dark years after he retires, not knowing where to turn.

And against Saban that's a pretty good record.

I know that buck toothed guy at Ol Piss is 2-1 but let's see how that's holds over time.

Whatever dude....Bama was winning titles in the 1920s and 1930s with Wallace Wade and Frank Thomas. Stallings had a good run. Bama is the GOAT.

He was also 1-2 against Bert, and would've been 0-3 if not for a miracle pass by Anthony Jennings.

Lsu is 25-50 against Ua. Which is right about the same % as 3-7. Sounds like lsu bot has unrealistic expectations.

Not everyone's. Many fans of rival programs actually have a grasp on reality. LSU fans are the ones who believe they are something more than they are not.
You guys were covered in shiit before you hired Saban.

This. This is THE reason.

Had Saban not been at Bama les would have been fine. I don't mean losing to Bama. I mean losing to Nick. He could have been 3-7 to Shula and been ok.

Les was in pretty good graces of LSU fans until...Nick came to Bama. At that very moment the angst of every LSU fan had to be directed somewhere. At first it was Bama, then, when miles lost to Bama it was directed at him, alleva, whomever. As long as Nick was in the NFL it was controlled anger. Once he came to a yearly opponent for LSU it was uncontrolled anger and somebody had to be the recipient of their feelings.

Once Saban became Bamas coach, somebody at LSU was on an extremely short leash if Nick started beating them.

Define for me an extremely long leash if 9-10 years is a short leash?

Never forget when that moron said something to the effect of "our new rival...fricking Alabama" after Saban was hired. I knew he was fricking toast, knew Saban was gonna bend his arse over many times. Sure enough, here we are.

You guys were covered in shite until the year 2000. Your program is the very definition of mediocre. Go frick yourself while you cry over 1/9/12.
