That could get ugly when we play Florida.
Also we couldn't possibly sacrifice such a fine looking dog when playing A&M.

Or the black bears. The the aTm border collie isn't that cool. Smokey is way cooler and the UGA bulldog. But I know y'all don't play tenn or UGA this season. Does auburn put their fruity aubie mascot in there or the bird?

I saw a YOUTUBE video awhile back about Mike the Tiger. Apparently there is a guy that used to go by his habitat every day. The Tiger got so used to seeing the guy he would actually jump ito the water and swim over to the guy evey time he came by.

There are several people that he will jump on the glass and freak out over. One guy said he was contemplating suicide before he formed his bond with mike. Obviously the guy is pretty imbalanced but i guess whatever it takes to get you through your day.

If the deer has an opportunity to escape then Mike probably has the opportunity to escape. This would be interesting!

Mike has escaped before.

I vote that Bert be fed to Mike the Tiger. though, since Mike is not the TAMU mascot, I dont think he has a true taste for arse.

Two tranquilizers. Apparently he attacked a small tree and clawed it up pretty good. He was lying peacfully in the grass when they caught up to him. It was a long, long time ago. Not the current Tiger.

The mascot is supposed to be a purebred Bengal Tiger, but the crurrent one is a mix between Bengal and Siberian, I believe.....something like that.

He's a 500 pound apex predator. If he could get out, he'd be dangerous.

Correct. Mike VI is a Bengal-Siberian mix.

Which means in the summer his Bengal side loves the humidity and his Siberian side hates it; in the winter his Siberian side loves it and his Bengal side hates it.

Didn't LSU used to shock him in front of the opposing team when they were walking out of the locker room?

We did cattle prod him way back in the day when it wasn't socially unacceptable to get him to roar. Also used to beat like hell on his cage as he drove around the stadium. We cleaned all that stuff up when we were ordered to improve his habitat (we went from 2k sqft to 15k sqft and spent millions so you can't say we didn't take it seriously).

Mike IV actually escaped and roamed around the PMAC and North Stadium Drive for a while until they hit him with a few tranq darts.
I think he went ape shite on a tree or two, but didn't hurt anyone.

Yeah, he's a wild animal, but he's lived in a cage his whole life and never hunted anything.
