Let me ask everyone this question, what has Nick Saban done that Les hasnt done to be considered a better coach?

yeah, read the whole thread. and go read any other one of the bazillions of these exact threads and see what people think. one thing that always blows my mind is the amount of Les Miles fans that humor this argument if they think their coach is sooooooooooooo superior :)

must have a reason to even feel like defending your points.

i never said either was better. i just think Saban can do no wrong in the media's eyes and Miles is crucified. and the Miles=Coker comparision is beyond childish

Too bad we can't be like Bama and have no championships of any kind this decade....that way no one can try to piss all over them. I can't wait to hear the exsuses over the next 2 or 3 years when Bama still has no championships.

negative. i've never seen another coach get credit for another program's sucess. Did Blake, Cooper, Zook, Shula, DiNardo, Hackett, etc.. get credit?

LSU was down during the 90's, but it wasnt like he had completely nothing to work with. DiNardo left him some pretty good players.

Not to be an arse, but why do yall really care what a couple gumptards think of our coach?

I guarantee you that if Miles and this team rebounds, and goes 10-2, their argument will switch from Miles=Coker to "Miles can't do shite w/o good coordinators." Guarantee you. Its a never ending argument with these kind of Bama fans. No matter what Saban and Miles do next season, they will say or write anything they can to ensure that their glorious and all-knowing savior is regarded as a better coach than ours. And most of the time, all they have to do is say its "common perception" Because as soon as they say that, its a done deal and the case is closed. You don't even need to argue with them anymore at that point. Just smile and move on. Kinda like when the autistic kid scores the winning touchdown after we all "miss" trying to tackle him.

Yep. No matter what Miles does, Bama fans will always credit Saban and convince themselves that Miles is a horrible coach

yeah...you right. no matter how successful les is, the bama fans will make up excuses. he will never get his credit from those guys.

i remember our #11 recruiting class in 08 and the bama fans were saying how it was the worst recruiting class ever from a NC champion. then the next year, he gets the #1 class and they don't give him any credit.

Partially true. The Cox Communications Center is a big recruiting tool.

This Gump turd says thats the national preception. Well trust me in this neck of the woods Miles is respected as he should be and saban is considered a traitor for turning his back on the dolphins. Hows that for national perception
