He was fired because he started losing more random games he shouldn't.
The final straw was that weird one against Auburn. They fired him then because the soft part of the schedule was coming up and administration didn't want to have to defend firing a guy who had won a NC and finished with 9 wins

As I recall, Les wasn't fired for performance. He was fired because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants around the female staffers.
Former LSU athletic director Joe Alleva recommended in 2013 that Les Miles be fired as head coach of the football program after accusations of inappropriate behavior with female student workers, according to a scathing investigative report released Friday that detailed systemic failures by LSU to appropriately report
But when you're stealing money from children, I guess fricking a few chicks in the office is minor shite.

Last week, LSU released a 148-page review by a law firm about the university’s handling of sexual misconduct complaints campus-wide. One part described how Miles “tried to sexualize the staff of student workers in the football program by, for instance, allegedly demanding that he wanted blondes with big breasts, and ‘pretty girls.’”
The report also revealed then-LSU athletic director Joe Alleva recommended firing Miles in 2013 to university officials.
