Why does LSU brag about firing coaches? It’s weird

Les and CEO caused more SEC head coaches to be fired than aggies have SECW Championships.

Weird part about that is he wasn’t fired until 2016…

LSU fires mediocre coaches. Texas 8&4 praises mediocrity.

Who is praising mediocrity? I don’t know anyone at A&M that is satisfied with last season, much less praising it.

Say we fired fisher last year. Who is on the market that’s better? You don’t just fire coaches after 8-4 + a number 1 recruiting class unless you have someone else who has tremendous upside or a known commodity. And no, Brian Kelly is not a known commodity. He hasn’t won shite.

Les Miles clearly hit his ceiling once Saban got Bama rolling.
Mullens at Florida deserved to be fired. He went 6-7 and basically quit recruiting.
Orgeron had a dumpster fire on his hands with a TON of talent.

Les gets fired 5 years sooner if he doesn't fall over a big titty blond backwards in to a 2 loss title.

Not even on the hot seat.

When all you’re used to is a below average football program, suddenly having an average program on par with NC State can feel like a massive leap in success.

And yet he still turned down the LSU job. What was his exact line. I just recruited this great class. Only an idiot would leave especially to play against these players. Something like that. But alls good for the Tigers, they have the great grinding Brian, his closeness to the south and all his momentum of winning bag games!

The report also revealed then-LSU athletic director Joe Alleva recommended firing Miles in 2013 to university officials. I'm here all week to bitch slap you

Boy, are you dumb. He wasn’t fired for another couple years, and then based solely on performance. No one accepted that joker Alleva’s recommendation in 2013.

Of course you don't Private... that's because all the douche bags aggies on here are busy worry about a LA kid leaving the state or they're busy swallow the Johnson of a coach that isn't at LSU.

You seem like and ok troop... but damn, the amount of shite talking from a fanbase that has accomplished shite since joining this conference is mind blowing. HELL.... MIZZOU has accomplished more since joining the SEC than the aggies have.

Damn...why are lsu fans so obsessed with A&M?

We find it funny that 8&4 looks down their noses at us and think they are on the same level as Alabama. Now they are pissed Texas and Oklahoma has joined. They thought they were out of the shadow and no longer little brother but they are back in that role once again. It is just funny picking on 8&4 because they have a small man’s complex.

I actually don’t disagree with a thing you said. Weird saying that but honestly I have had a couple A&M friends of mine praise their 8 win seasons. Not saying that they speak for all of your fan base but there are some out there that think Jimbo is Jesus.

Fisher won an Orange Bowl.

This statement epitomizes how pathetic Texas8&4 truly is. I have seen this posted several times by numerous Aggies. The pride that y’all have over a meaningless bowl game says it all about where your schools goals are , and it’s why Jimbo isn’t on the hot seat.

Definitely. Just go on TexAgs and start a thread questioning Jimbo’s passing game. I bet 25% will agree with you and the other 75% will call for you to be banned.

There are a lot of casual A&M fans that ignore the evidence and put pull the wool over their eyes hoping for the best.

My thoughts are: approve of him or not, we are stuck with him for probably 3 more years unless he just runs the program aground.

Running game is good, defense is good, but passing game has been mediocre except for the embarrassment last year. The upside is he is an excellent recruiter and my hope is that we can just out-talent some teams and get lucky in a semi-down SEC West year (which should have been last year). The latter will depend on how well LSU does with BK and if Saban gets senile in his old age.

Very true. I was skeptical with the Jimbo hire from the get go but I also knew the money that A&M could throw around as far as meeting any coaches needs and putting towards recruiting and facilities. Jimbo looked like a great hire from afar but he never really did a whole lot without Winston. If Aggie ever does ditch him I will worry quite a bit.

As I recall, Les wasn't fired for performance. He was fired because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants around the female staffers.

Then why did Alleva retain him after 2015 when he had public support to terminate him? Why did he wait until the 2-2 start in 2016?

Then why wasn’t he fired until the on field results went downhill?
