No he didn't. His agent called our people and said Les was interested. Our people were like WTH? 45 minutes later it was all over ESPN per Les's agent. Boom he gets a big raise from LSU.

Props to his agent for working that situation.

Les already trying to get a raise and extension.

No he wasn’t. Jeff Long just helped him out in getting a raise and extension at LSU.

Miles has seen the light. He could hire a Joe Brady clone and Arkansas could become relevant again.

Right now their #1 choice is the Gus Bus and a lot will be determined next weekend! If Auburn loses to Bama I would say it is a 90% done deal to Arkansas. That is coming from a person "friend" that told me when Morris was fired and I was the first to post it on here. Just look back at my posts to look at the time stamp. I had the info out before anyone and I got that info from him. My point being is I trust this person, who is a big booster there, to know the info. His last comment to me was, if I had to put a bet down right now I would put it on Gus.

take it however you want to take it, but Sexton has been working overtime to get this done is what I was told.

Is Gus a better coach than Miles? I am going with Miles. He was much more consistent than Gus and almost always had a better recruiting class.

Wins againt Bama.. I think Gus might have more. frick Bama.

Bookmarked.

Side note, in the extremely unlikely event Miles takes the Arkansas job it would be hilarious to hear him step up to the mike and say:
"Sorry about that Arrrr-KANSAS bit. I guess it really is Ar-kan-saw after all. Woo... Pig... Sooie!"

I think Les Miles would make a great head coach for Arkansas, or Auburn, or even Florida State and as long as it is not at LSU.

His OC went to Arkansas Tech lol.

Always think it’s funny when people on message boards say that apparently our first choices aren’t working out like anyone but the AD would know that. Not many were predicting Musselman either and I really like him so far.

If you are asking me who the better coach is, I would say Les Miles. If you are asking me who is a better fit, it would be Gus.

You know what's sad about this? It is that when Les was the LSU coach and candidate for this job back in the day, he used Arky's interest as leverage to get more money. Joe Alleva actually thought Les would go to Arkansas and leave LSU. Everyone and their mother knows LSU >>>> Ar-kansas. It just goes to show you the incompetence of our former AD.

Why would anyone want him? He was clearly holding back our program. Took Eaux a couple of years to reverse the damage Les did.

Les Miles won a national championship at LSU and played for another. The jury is still out on Orgeron, but right now it looks like he caught lightning in a bottle.
