Les going to Ole Miss would be a tradeoff of LSU's winningest coach for OM's worst coach

I would personally love to see this happen and the melt that would ensue if Les adopted the spread and pulled off the upset in Oxford

Les to Ole Miss makes too much sense.

He'd still have to face Aranda. Tall task in and of itself not including he would also have reduced scholarships

Going to be a tough situation at OM

I won't lie the melt alone has me hoping he takes the job. I'm willing to bet there's a lot of LSU fans that would enjoy that melt as well.

We will love watching other people's misery even when it's our own fans sometimes.

If OM has as little as one gram of functional brain matter left, Les will be their coach by this time next week.

Holy shite. Orgeron used to coach at Ole Miss? So you're saying the guy that used to coach Ole Miss would be at LSU now, and the babbling, idiot savant that used to coach LSU would likewise be at Ole Miss? How did you come up with this?

i think it makes sense for both Les and Ole Miss

I could see him winning 6 or 7 games a year there for a few years

Can you imagine Les vs. O in Tiger Stadium in 2018, what a strange scenario that would be.

The meltdown would be even better if Les goes air raid on our arse.

We had probably 5 or 6 different offensive coordinators during Miles tenure and the offense has always been the same. Lots of promises from Les to change philosophy but it was always toss dive left toss dive right. His stubbornness and refusal to change is what got him fired. To think for one minute that this 70 something old man is going to change is laughable.
He is a good man and runs a clean program. Those are huge check marks for his character and is exactly what Ole Miss needs right now.
Les wasn't always conservative but the Jarrett Lee pick six year changed Miles forever. He refuses to inject any creativity into offensive play calling and will handcuff any offensive coordinator you hire just as he did during his time at Lsu. His Big10 philosophy of ground and pound will win you a ton of games but when you are matched up with equal or superior talent then you will lose.

I would love it too. And Les would beat LSU at least once, just because that's how the football Gods roll . And he'd have a post- game press conference that would make America want to hug him. Because Les is a great dude.
