Like most coaches in BB I’m giving 3-4 years. We need skill and chemistry. Obviously we are missing some pieces to the puzzle but have potential to get wins as seen against UT. We will definitely need to tighten up and win some big games the rest of the way to make it but I’ll cut coach some slack till next year.

That was Rick Ray bad. I honestly can’t wait for Joffers and the rest of the clankers to graduate.
Tolu is a shell of himself. I’d rather start the Nigerian and West Virginia reject over him until he gets his head out of his arse.
I still think Jans is a good coach but if we can’t get inspired play from this crop of MS kids, I don’t see him wanting to waste his time here much longer.
We play a putrid and undisciplined style of basketball…mirrors MS highschool ball. No movement, no banging boards…no smarts. Pathetic AAU bullshite. Jeffro is the dumbest player I’ve ever seen put on the maroon and white.
If it wasn’t for Hub, we would only have 6 wins on the year.
He will look good in Duke blue next year….what a shite show

He only has one of the best big mans in the league and an upper class team that made the tourney last season. No reason to expect improvement over that or anything

We are the worst shooting returning team out of over 300+ teams from last year and our big man isn’t right after a prolonged injury. Our bread and butter is defense and we are soft/inconsistent in that area and can’t shoot worth a frick. It’s gonna take a few seasons, and I’m usually the first guy on the doorstep with a pitchfork when it comes to firing coaches, but we still are atrocious offensively. All Jans can do is put players in positions to score point-blank buckets. It’s up to them to finish and I’ve seen enough to know we haven’t done that.

Road games are really tough. State has average talent. But a coach who gets the most out of them. He is a good one. Lots of overreacting tonight.
