Our offense is basically Hubbard making contested shots. Tolu Smith has regressed. We play scared in the paint

Let’s ignore the 20% from 3, and sub 60% FT shooting though. That if we could even be average at both we would be 4-1 in conference because it cost us both the Alabama and Carolina games.

I haven’t given up on him yet. What he did last year was a miracle…still though, we need to start executing offensively and get some new blood in.

Gotta remember Jan’s still isn’t coaching with much. I didn’t watch this game because I had a feeling it would be a shitshow. Bottom line, you simply can’t consistently beat mediocre sec teams on the road shooting as poorly as we do and going sub .500 from the charity stripe. If we sneak into the tournament, it will be a massive success. I would be way more pissed had I watched, but sec basketball officiating is worse than sec football officiating, which is difficult to even comprehend.

You are going to have sub-par game here and there just like we did at Ole Miss. It’s a long season and you just need to get in the tourney and get hot at the right time.
