playing Auburn on Friday
I have seen this thrown out several times in the past few days.
There was no bitching just because it was friday, it was a contract we both signed with CBS to gain more exposure, and because the other teams from the West(LSU) bitched about how UA/AU got a bye week before the SEC championship game. We were forced to move the time slot to thanksgiving week and they signed the contract for friday.
They fans complained because of the difficulty tailgaiting and making the trip on friday, so they moved it to saturday

The only reason that State, Ole Miss, Vandy, and kentucky are on board is because they need each other. It 's their only shot at a SEC win

I'd also bet big money that Alabama has played Florida in the regular season less than any other SEC West team.
WTF? Other than LSU, it rotates on the schedules of each West team just the same. Another conspiracy from Birmingham?

I started to say this earlier but then one of the barners put up actual numbers saying that we are actually second in the west in number of times playing florida right behind auburn. Other than lsu of course. we cant forget that they have to play the big bag gators every single year.

LSU has never, ever, ever wanted to play the day after Thanksgiving, but the SEC forces us to.
Bama gets stuck playing then twice, and the Birmingham Office decides to kiss Bama's butt once again and moves LSU back to Friday.

Heck, State'll take Florida--we have a .500 record against them since expansion. Ole Miss does, too. During that same time period, LSU is .300 against UF.
LSU just needs to man up and play better against the Gators like MSU and OM.

No you would be wrong, but nice try on your assumptions. Although your butthurtness is being overshadowed by your bleeding vagina. I am not sure which one reeks worse

Oh and gets this, You played on friday after thanksgiving before the iron bowl was forced to switch to thanksgiving week because of the whinners from the SEC west. So once again you would be wrong

quote:I hope you are kidding. The schedule makers still have to make the two rotating teams equitable among everyone. Why not use that same "haves" and "have nots" line of thinking. Every year your rotating SEC cross-divisional schedule consists of one of the "haves" and one of the "have nots". The schedules are made 10 years at a time so defining the "haves" and "have nots" can be an ongoing process as teams gain and lose competitive strength.
With the 6-2, there will be years when LSU draws UF and UGA while Bama gets UK and Vanddy. Or UGA will get Ole MIss and MSU in a year when UF draws LSU and Bama. That is not balanced scheduling.
The funny thing is if LSU's permanent opponent was as shitty as Tennessee has been the last 5 years and Bama's was as strong as Florida, we would not be hearing shite about preserving the tradition coming from gump nation. Especially if it cost them a trip or two to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game.

Even starting with only 2000, it seems
Ike LSU is the only team that has to play TWO multiple BCS Championship winning programs every year.

And by your numbers, Bama gets a cupcake as its permanent opponent.
What? UT is not a cupcake. They are in a lull right now, but so if Florida. If UT is a cupcake because they suck right now, then so is UF. LSU is not playing Spurrier or Meyer's Florida anymore, just like Alabama is not playing Fulmer's UT squad with Peyton Manning.

I can play homerun derby with you all day you want. You just keeping lobbing them up and I'll just keep knocking them out of the park. If I were you though I would quit while I'm behind though.

You are told to shove it so often because you cry wolf so often. Pick a few important topics to complain about and be taken seriously. Keep crying after every ref call, every day game, every year when you want the offices and baseball tournament out of Birmingham and the SEC title game out of Atlanta, etc, and no one takes anything you whine about seriously.
You have the fing Sugar Bowl and played your last 3 national title games in a row in New Orleans. Jesus your fan base is insufferable (which is why you have no rival). No one respects LSU enough to want a rivalry with them.

It is amazing how a multiple BCS winning program can be made up of such giant crybabies. I pick on yall for having little brother syndrome on the regular, but Auburn fans have stanless steel balls the size of the fricking moon compared to the BB sized marbles that reside in the LSU fanbase. It is seriously fricking pathetic and to be honest, embarassing.
This. I used to hate Auburn fans more than anything, but I'm beginning to find a new respect for them after they stood tall and won a national title with the world against them. LSU has everything going for them and yet their fans find a way to be the biggest complainers in CFB.

LSU is the only team making a push for this change. There may be another team or 2 on board, but if you hadn't noticed, they are keeping their fricking mouths shut because they have enough sense to know when their vaginas are showing and cover them the frick up.

I like playing Florida every year. Some of my best LSU memories were Florida games (i.e. '97, '07, '11)

I'm surprised LSU is 3rd in the west.
