As I stated, it's not an either or. You can be pro pot at a post developed age and for medical purposes for any age WITHOUT promoting it as healthy for undeveloped brains for rec use.
What are you talking about? I never said it’s healthy. I think it’s unhealthy and a substance that most should not use. That doesn’t mean it’s a valid reason to kick an athlete off of a team for. Most of these athletes shouldn’t be drinking, but they don’t test for that. This isn’t communist China.

undeveloped brains
This is a problem for alcohol consumption too. If you want age-based laws, then you need to change the legal age of adulthood. If you can go to big-boy prison, you should have the same rules as everyone else.

Good lord. Stay on topic.
Something you don’t want to hear != off topic.
Drugs are bad.
Marijuana is probably one of the “least bad” drugs there is.
Yet, people get locked up in jail all the time for it.
Opioids are devastating and highly addictive. Dealers of this drug are not only not arrested, but they are paid upper-class wages.
If you don’t see what’s going on with drug laws in this country, then that’s on you.

These areas are connected to motor learning and control, and can affect people's reaction time, memory, and the ability to switch between tasks.
So you think these kids started smoking only in college, or were they also in high school and still with superior motor skills vs the average player? Also vs the even better researched CTE studies, which do you really think poses a larger risk to young athletes' brain health?

Consensus of neuroscientists agree that brain development likely persists until at least the mid-20s – possibly until the 30s.
And the part that's still developing is called the “prefrontal cortex.” It's at the mid point for development at the age of 18.
I don't think anyone has even debated this. It's marijuana use risk vs football brain injuries. But to further indulge you... one of my friend's dad literally proved cocaine was addictive, via brain mapping. World renowned addiction doctor, dual doctorate type guy. He founded UF's department of addiction medicine. Holds the patent on using clonidine to treat opiate withdrawals type addiction OG. I've had this type discussion with him several times. I can assure you he has moved from your direction more towards mine, over the last 15 years or so.

The melt by jjdoc if this happened would be worse than the cumulative melts of all L1U fans when Mississippi State beat them.

There are plenty of things that a person can do and take that does not do damage to the undeveloped brain.
This isn't anti pot. It's just truth for that age.

You simply can't stay on the topic and are bouncing all over.
Bottom line. It's not good for them, it hampers their motor skills etc, therefore lessens what they can be to the team and themselves.
No, it's not China... It's America. And a College program has the right to not play a kid failing drug tests. They player has the right to do drugs, if legal. He just don't get to play....

Again bouncing. This has nothing to do with LAWS. Legalize it down to 10... If the program or business says NO DRUG USE... it's their right. PERIOD.

And?
WTF does that have to do with the damn TOPIC of Leach booting kids for DRUG use?
NOTHING!!!!!

Cannabis isnt a "drug" except in a few backwards hick states.

So does alcohol and prescription pills.
So don't drink or smoke before or during games.

The reason CML doesn’t like pot smokers is that wide outs who smoke drop too many balls over the middle.

The only studies that have been done have have been to achieve negative results... And only a few done in a controlled clinical settong. They also use shite weed. They haven't isolated for the different cannabiboids.
We've done more research on cheetohs affecting the brain than herb.
What we do know is alcohol kills people all the damn time.

TBH I think Leach is a semi-functioning alcoholic. I think It's why he can't adapt I think it is why he can't stay on topic and why he can't remember what he was just saying so he changes the topic. His brain function is low like a chronic drinker.

The prohibition against pot creates so much more misery and crime than the substance itself. Problem is there’s a billion+ dollar industry that relies on pot related investigations, court cases, probations, incarcerations, etc. There are people who recognize this, and then there are morons.
With that said, it does dampen motivation in most cases, so I support a business or football program’s right to test for it and take internal action. If you want the job or the scholarship, don’t smoke.
