Affects, fake doctor.

But let's check out the patent on cannabinoids, as held by our government...
quote:

Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidoil, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention. A particular disclosed class of cannabinoids useful as neuroprotective antioxidants is formula (I) wherein the R group is independently selected from the group consisting of H, CH3, and COCH3.

I have no idea why we would ban football players from using cannabis. Seems like the opposite of what science says we should do

Because their brains are not fully developed. I just showed your facts of what it does to motor skills.

Dude it is a neuroprotectant. It could actually help save these kids lives from having lasting brain damage... If anything we should be giving edibles out before every game

I have no problem with full legalization. But you know what? It's his football team. If they don't like it, they can play elsewhere. I support that.

No it is Mississippi State's football team... He is just the coach. That is the difference between the SEC and colleges like tech and wsu.

Leach will be processed sooner than later when I win the mega millions

Perhaps they shouldn't be taking repeated blows to the head then Weird to be so pro something that causes CTE vs something that could actually treat it. Minus the fatties in the trenches, I'd take the motor skills of a currently stoned college athlete over yours, all day, every day.

Maybe true. It does NOT change the science that we have known for 50 years plus. It does not change the damage done from concussions either.

Your timing is off. You can be pro medical for adults who have CTE and telling the truth about it as teen and undeveloped brains.

That's the point.

Because you don't give a frick about the kid that entertains you.

At this level, MJ HURTS them. It does not HELP them.

Why would you want a kid to NOT be everything they COULD be. That's literally what you are saying. "I don't give a damn about them so long as they stay and help me team win".

Yeah, half century old cannabis research is extremely reliable and 100% accurate.

I don't believe you, for 2 reasons... you aren't that bright nor that intellectually honest.

18 year olds ARE adults.

I don't care about college athletes? Bizarre stance to accuse a former college athlete of.

I don’t smoke and never will. However, this is America and it’s insane a leaf is used to justify mass incarceration. The war on drugs will not age well - especially since the worst drug dealers in this country are doctors.

Studies today find the same results. 14 studies published between 1992 and 2015 that looked specifically at motor function in cannabis users, along with numerous other studies that examined cannabis use in connection to cognitive function.

Researchers found that people who used marijuana had differences in brain areas called the corticostriatal networks compared with people who didn't use the drug. These areas are connected to motor learning and control, and can affect people's reaction time, memory, and the ability to switch between tasks.

Your words are not going to change facts.

Who are 7 to 10 years out from a developed brain. Consensus of neuroscientists agree that brain development likely persists until at least the mid-20s – possibly until the 30s.

And the part that's still developing is called the “prefrontal cortex.” It's at the mid point for development at the age of 18.

Has nothing to do with the topic of college age football players who have reach the halfway point of brain development and are required to have motor skills...etc

As I stated, it's not an either or. You can be pro pot at a post developed age and for medical purposes for any age WITHOUT promoting it as healthy for undeveloped brains for rec use.

I agree with Leach.

Pot is the anti-performance-inhancing drug.

Athletes have to adhere to strict dietary guidelines and supplemental guidelines. Otherwise, they're just normal people.
