Actually, I think ND is out either way. BUY wins ND misses the cut but if BYU loses Miami would move up a spot right behind ND and now, they would be in the same pod with head-to-head for both of them.
The other interesting is IF Alabama wins how far do we move up and what team misses out on having a home field first round.

I don’t think Alabama is great by any stretch. But they can beat you. And #1 seed in the best conference, at the moment.

Probably, although we still haven’t seen what the committee will do if a team loses a CCG by 30 points or something.

Exactly. These rankings were a disaster for ND. If BYU loses, they will drop a spot and then Miami/ND will be back to back. In that case they always flip teams for head to head
