I'll be curious to see what type of commitment the university has to maintain the program.
I know there's been teasing and trolling from LSU fans about the coach poaching, but there's a valid point behind all the jokes: your AD shouldn't let a conference rival raid the staff like that after an 11 win season. You should be building on what you have, prepping to make a run this year.
Look at Ole Miss- they locked in their staff, and hit the portal hard.
Look at LSU- saw the hole in their armor (defense), and pulled assistants from 11 win Mizzou and playoff Texas to fix it. Saw the lack of talent relative to past years, so they're recruiting like a beast right now.
Look at Bama- saw the King step down, so they went out and grabbed the HC from another playoff team to plug in that spot.
Maybe I just missed things, but I haven't seen Mizzou do much this offseason. Feels like they're just chilling, waiting to see what will happen... when they could be trying to make the next step. Almost like the AD and administration felt last year was "good enough".
I don't see the hunger.

Also picked up arguably the best Sophomore OL in the country in Cayden Green who was OU’s best OL as a true freshman. Offense won’t be a concern unless Brady Cook gets injured, and 9-3 is the floor not the ceiling. The Vegas o/u will likely be set at 9.5 wins, if it’s any lower you better jump on that immediately
LSU fans have been saying Mizzou will suck due to loss of DC and DL coach.

I'm not going to fault our AD because LSU decided to make him the highest paid non-HC in the nation. The millions LSU throws at buyouts and desperation contracts isn't something I'd want to see from Mizzou. Resources can be funneled to other areas.

He's not "the best Sophomore OL in the country", and he wasn't anywhere close to "OU's best OL". The shite you clowns tell yourselves....

We are planning a North end zone expansion of some type. That's going to take millions of dollars to get done. Thanks for the $900,000 check btw.

I’m surprised drink is working. I don’t understand the animosity towards lsu
Honestly I think it's the fact we've won a couple titles with coaches like Les and O. If I wasn't a fan myself, I can see how that would drive people a little nutty.

I get your point, but we made him a top 5 paid coordinator in all of college FB before LSU poached him. Not sure how much more we could protect that asset.
As to the spending of money, it is a novel idea, but these are institutions of learning. Perhaps all the money made off the University's property rights might be plowed back into improving the university itself to lasting benefit?

A group that hasn’t worked together Vs 1 decent guy 2 unknowns and a guy that has been there a couple years doesn’t just work like that.
Bet the under all day long.

Last years Vols line was a patchwork and suffered injuries all year and was still a top 11 group? And all but one of those guys is returning and the Vols added a decent LSU SO to help out. Depth is still a huge concern for me with the Vols and I wouldn’t put their 23 film as a top 11 in the country.

This is correct.
And if a true freshman is anybody's best OL anywhere in the country, they don't have an Oline at all. That's not how it works.

Happy to be corrected, but I thought 4 OL starters for Mizzou return next year. They are incorporating 1 new OL if I'm right.

dreaming is counting on 4 OL to have normal progress and improve enough to cover any shortcoming by the new 5th OL?
dreaming is saying that the defense lost a lot and needs more portal adds than the 2-3 already added?
You dream little if that is a big dream to you.

Let's talk about how Baker (DC) Peoples (DE) and Jensen (S) of Mizzou are now all at LSU......

Mizzou’s oline losses Foster, for sure draft pick and Delgado, possible pick. Son3 returning on the oline.
