Honestly ours and bama's shouldn't even count. Bama's was against an undefeated team in the sugar bowl and UGA's was against a top 5 Boise St that went 12-1 and finished 6th.

I mean those are a little bit different than frickin app state or navy

App State beating Michigan that year on the blocked FG was my all time favorite

In fairness, when we played Boise State they were ranked #5 in the country and we were ranked #19. Boise finished ranked #8 in the country and we finished #19, so it was not like it was some major upset.

Orgeron, in typical Orgeron fashion, was trying to meddle in the offense. So, Matt Canada gave him the finger and started our third string running back out of spite. Orgeron said after the game he had no idea why he was on the field.

Alabama ? 2008 (Utah)

Some trivia... in that Sugar Bowl, Utah was coached by Kyle Whittingham, currently the head coach at Michigan.

In 2008 Utah finished 13–0 and at No. 2 in the AP, having beaten four teams in the final Top 25.

Whittingham had taken over the program after Urban Meyer left Utah to become the head coach at Florida.

Alabama finished at 12–2 in 2008, having also previously lost the SEC Championship Game against Florida (with Tim Tebow).

They would come back and win the BCS National Championship the following season, Saban's first at Alabama.
