Why in the world would I make that up?
That was over 30 years ago, but I just checked and Alabama still has dove season in November. Looks like it's shifted to later in the month and you don't have to wait until noon on every opening day is the biggest change.
Did you dispute that LSU lost to Alabama consistently or something? It's the dove season you have an issue with? Seriously?

I am sure they happened. You were the one who started going off with nonsense about not hunting dove in November.
The fact you think what I said is somehow crazy highlights your own ignorance.
We didn't have every game on TV back then. Most Alabama games I listened to on the radio.
And while listening to them on the radio, you are often doing other things...like dove hunting on a Saturday.
Never had someone get upset about what I was doing while listening to their team lose before.

Eh, Bama would have been the only team to get 3 of the Big 6. Auburn and UT weren’t going off the schedule. This made the most sense.
