As I’ve said before, LSU should just embrace Kiffin as the Darth Vader villian.

No he didn’t. He got more NIL money than anyone else in the league when it started. We gave him a great head start. So much so that LSU bought our administrator. Long before buying Lane and the most talented team in college football. The recruiting rankings don’t lie. And there is no more “building process”. LSU is loaded with paid for talent. So let’s see what they do with them.
We have had to buy a football team every year to compete under kiffikins. Lane bought the most expensive one yet at LSU. Let’s see if he can win them a title. He might. But the turnover never changes. You have to starve other sports to keep the Kiffin money coming. We put limits on him at the end because we didn’t want to totally suck at baseball and hoops.

If what he says is true then yes, he had nothing to say so long as his paychecks cleared. Not really a good look for Lane
