Fair enough. I think that’s the level of expectation we should all have. Am I happy with LK’s performance? Yes. 7 on a scale of 10. I’m “fine” with it. Do I think he can do more and is held back by some of his choices? Yes. He won’t run off our inept OC. But at the end of the day, I think all OM fans want to see some big time hardware in the trophy case.

What's more embarrassing, Lane losing to BK or LSU storming the field after beating Ole Miss?
Or Kirby's teams getting skull fricked by Ed O's teams.

Did your caregivers give you a fresh drool napkin and let you listen to it after the teletubbies finished?

Did Theo roast Kiffin for flopping with the most expensive roster in football this past year?
Not even close, had multiple schools double it. Om beat one with a higher payroll.

I listened to the entire podcast this morning and I have gained a lot of respect for Lane. He seems to have taken the lessons from his dad and from Saban and finally realized why they were trying to teach him those lessons at the time.
I sincerely used to root against him because of his public persona but this was a great "peek behind the curtain" and Lane seems like he truly has matured. He seems to have digested those lessons and is living his best life now.

But still ended up ranked higher than LSU at the end of the season's final poll.

Didn't Kelly have a Heisman winner at QB and two 1st round WR's his first two seasons?
But somehow Kiffin had more talent to work with?

Brian Kelly leaves ND then the Irish play for a natty is all you need to know.

Lane has little boy syndrome like his fanbase. Feel bad for those people but I feel bad for anyone living in MS

To be fair, you could also say that BK was hired by ND then they played for a natty.

Kiffin tweets better than he coaches.

Pretty sure Lane beat LSU the year we went 11-2. It was the same year Brian Kelly went 9-3 with a Heisman trophy QB.
