I actually think Leavitt can turn out well but the facts are Kiffin was trying to get 3 other guys (at least) before closing the deal with Leavitt.

Hot take, I think Leavitt can have at least as many yards tomorrow as he had in those games combined (151). Probably as many interceptions too

State has beaten LSU 3 times since 2000 when we played every year up to 2024. We own the series 75-36-3. We won 14 straight from 2000-2014.

In all seriousness, Leavitt has not had a good track record against MS State in 2024 with Skattebo and 2025 without Skattebo. That was Hutzler (now with Auburn) and not Arnett though, so who knows how this goes.
He hasn't looked great this season especially against better competition, but this will be Tiger Stadium with better talent around him than AZ St (Skattebo being an outlier there).
If state can keep him in the pocket and avoid getting taken by the 1 or 2 trick plays, I'm betting are coming, they may have a shot. Also, avoiding major errors will be key. A bad turnover like a pick 6 or a muffed punt will sent Tiger Stadium into a frenzy. I've never seen it end well after something like that.
That all goes out the window if there's no Kamario Taylor and no Fluff Bothwell. It's a loss for sure without them.

It's been a while since I've been to the SEC Rant and I'm pretty disappointed.
Has it really devolved to THIS level of shitposting?
This thread and topic actually has potential. There's actually a discussion to be had and an opportunity for MSU fans to boldly claim they are going to walk into Tiger Stadium and beat LSU.
It could have been fun. MSU fans could be grinding on each other.
