Yes, he never says he did not make mistakes but note how many of his players still have his back.
He did not broadcast his empathy. Look at why Mark Ingram ended up at Alabama. The guy cared like a REAL father or leader does.

There's a lot of loud enthusiasm and an undercurrent of wait and see skepticism. He's a good offensive coach and improved the results of his last two head coaching gigs. That's the good part.
Is that enough? Maybe. The flaky stuff in his past isn't consistent with long term success. And he needs to be really careful with the going for it on 4th down stuff. He isn't Young Sheldon.

This is true. The 2 prior Ole Miss coaches had the “Manning stamp of approval” and both embarrassed Ole Miss for different reasons.
The Mannings not liking Kiffin may actually be a good sign for LSU’s future.
