To his credit, he has publicly called it false on twitter and has said the whole time he does not discuss rumors during the season. He's told the media a few times in a few different ways that he's happy at Ole Miss.
I do believe he interviewed and that Auburn made a strong offer to Jimmy.

Lane planned on going to Auburn but Sexton could not get the money he wanted. Would make sense because Cohen is not the type to dish out big money with long contracts. He probably screwed Auburn over

Anyways I won’t share all of the post but gist is according to multiple sources inside the program something changed today to indicate they feel he is staying at Ole Miss
