Yeah, I don't know why people want to judge him based on an off season high school camp that he probably doesn't even want to be at instead of the three years and 1000 pass attempts he threw at Div-1 for the same head coach. He's not a high school recruit, he's an established veteran.

But the problems at Auburn have not been QB talent but rather the supporting cast and chemistry of the other 10 guys on the field, in particular the OL. If we can't fix that it doesn't matter what kind of arm or athleticsm the guy who takes the snap has.

Auburn had one of the most talented WR corps in the country last season.

Well, one team won a playoff game and the other had their 5th losing season in a row.

no fricking shot captain obvious

my point was that talent is worthless if you cant figure out how to use it

as for Brown, its highly unlikely he will deliver any worse results than any other AU QB over the last 4 seasons, so i dont give a damn how he looks in a meaningless vanity show camp

Why does he have such a rag arm?

Zero velocity.

False.

LT - outstanding (needed to drop 20+ pounds to optimize)
LG - barely serviceable
C - outstanding when healthy, was hurt the last 2 games + playoffs
RG - revolving door disaster
RT - Solidified late with Carroll but he was a TF and was still learning

The pass pro was fine once Carroll took over at RT until the injuries hit at C and RG, but the run blocking was the worst since Saban took over and one of the worst groups in P4 statistically based on adjusted YPC and yard before contact.

Theres a reason the coach was let go and the entire group was blown up in the offseason, there wont be a single player starting in the same position as last year and only one returning starter period.

Jalen Hurts comes to mind. He’s not successful is he?

PS: it’s good to see LSU scared of us. Good sign.

He's going to be an interception machine in SEC play.

He went 9-15. We don’t know what he did on the other 5.

He had a 60% completion percentage against air AND doinked a bystander on one throw..

Even if he did go 5-5 on the others, and that is doubtful watching that video, he still had only a 70% completion percentage. Against air.
I guarantee you cant tell us your Qbs practice stats off the top of your head

I couldn’t have told you anyone’s, including AU’s. I watched the 1min & 13 sec video followed by 30 seconds of writing the post.

Do tell what the going rate is for rent for spending 2 minutes doing something that AU fans weren’t intellectually able to do themselves?

I'm really glad to see Auburn back on the Reb's schedule in 2026. We play them in Oxford on Halloween.
