Yes, most total points for 2nd but not the closest race. Murray won by 296 points. Ingram only won by 28 points in 2009.

It is funny, I excepted a bet ban to not post for six months (another site, 2 years ago), and honored it to the letter.
I have made bet bans with OU fans, and everyone of them did not honor it.
sad really......

Kyler Murray deserved the trophy over tua. If u gAve me a choice out of all 3 of the qbs up for the trophy I take kyler Murray everytime. He's just the better overall player. Period.

The only way this makes sense is the voters are trying to make sure Alabama doesn't just walk away with every damn thing every year. Tua deserved to win. Going to Bama may have stopped that.
