Kentucky is probably my second favorite SEC team at this point. I'm happy for their fans. They do deserve it.

frick Kentucky basketball though.

Gotta admit: the idea of a Tennessee/Kentucky football game where both teams are actually highly ranked is exciting. Can't recall a time when both teams were ranked facing each other.

Tennessee/Kentucky is an underrated border rivalry nationally. Very healthy hateful relationship between the two Universities and fanbases.

Kentucky played a very poor game against Florida, but was aided by Anthony Richardson's atrocious play (to the direct tune of 2 TDs from horrible interceptions).

Maybe they'll be a top 10 team with Chris Rodriguez back, but as of now, I don't see it

They play Youngstown St. and then Northern Illinois.

They will get to keep that ranking until Oct 1 when they play Ole Miss.

Of course they will also lose to Miss. St., Tenn, and UGA this year.

No they won't. They will beat Miss State and Tennessee both. And they'll give Georgia a game.

Congrats on the win Saturday night, but Kentucky is not a top 10 team, just like UF isn't a top 20 team. Both have big issues to solve before being in the upper echelon of college football.

Yes, the whole Utah is great and Florida beat them and Kentucky beat them thing is really ridiculous. I love beating the Gators but the truth is our offensive line is still a work in progress, not a top 25 o-line. Our defense won the game. But the sample size is too small to know if it was great defense or AR is overrated.

This all started out by overrating Utah.

I think we were ranked about right at 20.

I think we are appropriately ranked. Offense wasn’t sharp in Florida but very tough road environment. Additionally, Kentucky went into full ball control mode after taking the lead due the fact that it was obvious that Florida would struggle to score. Unfortunately, we were missing the RB we needed to grind the clock AND move the chains.

Word is, Rodriguez’s first game back will be against Ole Miss. Can you imagine the fire that he will be running with?

They deserve it. The Swamp is always a tough place to go to and leave a winner. Good for them.

Kentucky is a good team, but until they can more consistently beat Tennessee (4-36 in the last 40 years (last 20 of those years we have been sub standard), I wouldn't be confident in this prediction.

Huge congratulations to the many Kentucky basketball and Bama football fans that have quietly switched to full time Kentucky fans. This is a momentous occasion in bandwagon sidewalk fan history
