People have said the same thing about Kiffin up until the OM job.
I wouldn't hate this hire if I was a Florida fan. Very good offensive coach. Hope he's matured a bit and is now ready to be a HC again after struggling while very young.

You are correct Stallings had a losing record as a coach before coming to Alabama.
But the reason he was hired is because he was one of the kids Bear coached at A&M, and then he was an assistant coach under Bear also.
He was considered "Bear like" and he had ties to the school.

I love KK but I would be worried. After his coaching fail at TTU he even admitted that he hated recruiting and never really participated in it. But hey, maybe it will be different this time.

No Manziel just wasn't into his groove that 1st college start and we had a real good defense that year.
