I’m glad the Rebs won but I thought it was really neat that he had such a big game in front of his family. Sardis is about 20-30 minutes from Oxford depending on where you’re coming from. I know he has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Ole Miss as Phil Longo didn’t offer him as a QB and his play showed that. He’s not the most talented dude but he is tough as nails and played his arse off yesterday. I hope he continues to have a good season.

He reminds me a lot of Relf circa 2010. Nothing jumps out off the film but he makes plays and keeps drives alive.

He’s still got a lot of football left for Arky. Maybe We should up Burks NIL to come back next season

He is. Kid is tough and talented. Just makes what UGA was able to do against him even more impressive.

Get some more studs around him and he is gonna really shine. Heisman shine.

Thats a great comp. He has Cam Newton size and he can see the field freaking awesome. He missed on some easy slants yesterday but he refused to let it affect him and gave them a shot to win in the end.

ETA: He is one of those guys worth tuning in to watch every Saturday. He puts his body on the line every play and those are always going to be my favorite type of athletes

KJ is a guy who is a competitor. His accuracy issues are present but man his athleticism and toughness make up for it.

Stop this already. KJ is 6-3 240, Cam was 6-6 255.

That was only like his 6th start in college

Big upside still

That they're not the same size? I just think it's a silly narrative to go with when he's clearly smaller. He's big no doubt, but he's not cam. And i hate cam but he's not him.

Looks like Cam was 6-6 and 245 in college. So, similar weight; just a height difference.

He played really well yesterday. Ran it down our throats in the red zone, and used our lack of pass rush to pick us apart for four quarters. I was impressed.

The game is slowing down for KJ. He's improving every week.

And the crappie fishing on Sardis is legit

This is such a bizarre thread…I mean he aight, but unfortunately for him, he only gets to play Ole Miss once a year…I mean, has everybody forgotten that literally just 8 days ago he produced 0 points vs Georgia? Even Bo Nix did better…KJ is a big, strong athlete, but EVERYBODY looks good against OM Pop Warner defense…let’s see him do work against a normal defense before we mention Heisman…Jesus some of you are insane.

KJ had slight better stats than Corral...and the hogs had slightly better stats everywhere but the stat that counts.

Just another great game. Congrats Rebs. I'm still no fan of that classless coach of yours, but your program overall is fun (and he won't be there long anyway).

If Mullen were still at state he’d have KJ looking like Tebow and Dak
