Where does it rank on all time coaching blunders?

4th and 11. You put Fields in on ST for the first time all year. Bama is in safe formation. Hurts is hot, but he would still have to drive the ball 80 or so yards against your Top 10 defense.

Just an unbelievably bad decision given what was on the line.

It was horrible. Why the players didn't tell him to can that sh*t and punt the ball I'll never know. It was 4th and 11, not 4th and 1.

Kirby has a thing for horrible fakes on special teams. He had the horrible fake field goal vs LSU

He actually managed to top the fake FG on the road down 3 in death valley.

That was a fourth and 9. Somebody needs to tell kirby if youre going for a fake fg or punt its best if its not 4th and a mile to be successful.

Dude is an awful gameday coach.

Fields coming in is an automatic signal that a fake punt is on.

I'd put it up there with Pete Carroll throwing on 2nd and goal against the pats a few years ago.

He even said they saw that bama was in punt safe........yet he didn't call it off.

Considering everything that was on the line, I can't possibly think of a dumber coaching decision I have ever witnessed.

If it doesn't, he has given the ball to his opponent at midfield with the SECC on the line and a sure ticket to the tourney.

Punt it. Make the #2 QB drive to beat you........unless you don't trust your D.

I mean, I see where he was coming from. Jalen came in hot and was moving the ball.

If I'm on UGA's defense though, I interpret that as "I don't trust y'all to stop this motherfricker at all, whether from 50 yards out or 80 yards out."

How dare you it was wide open and only a slow snap stopped it from working.

I actually think it was a genius decision by Kirby. His defense was gassed and Hurts was doing a Tagovailoa impression. If he punted, Bama would have taken all the time off the clock and kicked a game-winner as time expired. By faking the punt, UGA got the ball back with the chance to tie on a Hail Mary.

I'm not saying Kirby intended it to be this way, but it worked out better for Georgia because of his decision

Yeah, it gave them a posession, but there's no way he could've known that it'd shake out that way.

He was going for a score and momentum swing.

It was 4th and 11, not 4th and 1.

It was the dumbest play call of the entire college football season.
By any team.

It was really bad. Kirby is a great recruiter but he’s still got a lot to learn as a coach.

One of the worst of all-time. If I were a Georgia fan, I don’t think I could ever forgive them for that.

Kirby isn’t off the REC payroll.. we own his arse. He is just a mole for Bama and will throw any game against the machine...

In other news.. L8U let me borrow the tin foil hat. Seems to be working
