I really was just as impressed with justin Jefferson
I thought he was the best LSU WR last year.

Jefferson was by far our best possession WR last year. Chase was the one that made the flashy plays though. They were both incredible

won the national championship on the last play of the game

Last play because we scored last in OT. Was not 4th down, nor was the clock an issue.

Sure but LSU threw the ball significantly more than Bama does this year.

LSU 34att game
Bana 29att game

9 conference games - Chase 60 catches - 21.27 avg- 141yds/game - 16TD

Imagine if he had the chance to pad his stats against Kentucky and Mizz

11 conference games - Smiddy 98catches - 15.42 avg/yd - 137yds/game - 17TD

Good thing Waddle went down or he wouldn’t be invited to NY

His numbers don’t sniff the Heisman in a normal year, that’s a fact.

No, that’s BS. He’s got 98 catches, 1577 yards, and 17 TDs in eleven games against an all SEC schedule. In a normal year, he ‘d have had two more games before the voting, not to mention some cupcake games...in a normal year, he’d have 1,800 to 1,900 yards, 115+ receptions, and 20+ TDs. He’d definitely be within sniffing range of the Heisman in a normal year...

Would you say Chase was within sniffing range of the Heisman last year?

Nope not good enough

Unlike Smith who you will get to see over and over again in Heisman House ads forever

You will remember WRU

Smith would get my vote. Jones is good but Smith is that player with that extra explosive ability that is really fun to watch

Using your own information, he didn't play in the Northwestern game and had minimal stats against Utah St and Georgia Southern. He did have a good day vs Vandy. He spent the rest of his season padding his stats against the likes of Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Clemson and Alabama. But I suppose it was a good troll effort by you.

This isn’t necessarily wrong. Ja’Marr Chase had better numbers last year and didn’t even finish close to the top of Heisman voting

No, he didn't.

Put that Louisiana 6th grade public school education to work and go back and arse up Chase's numbers through his first eleven games.

And say what you want about Chase and Smitty, but this much is certain: one guy improved his value this year, and sure as hell wasn't the guy sitting at home on the couch.

Imagine if that stooge running your program was actually able to educate and mentor his players like the guy in Tuscaloosa.

Lol no. JaMarr had receivers around him that got 18 TDs and 13 TDs respectively.

The closest to Smith on Alabama is Metchie with 6. Chase was 100% better last year he just wasn’t getting almost every target. Just watching the games Chase did things I could never see Smith doing
