Are you this stupid. The offensive assistants that are coaching at LSU next year.

It’s already cost them a few hundred thousand. Also, I know yall thought yall were going to pluck the Ole Miss program of coaches and players, but if you don’t think that will change if Ole Miss wins a Natty, then you’re heavily mistaken.

The fact that they don't grasp this is crazy.

Unlike Ole Miss, a few hundred thousand isn't a big lift for us, which again, is why Lane came to LSU and why his staff and some select players will follow him.

I look forward to Ole Miss getting beat by Miami and ending all this nonsense.

Yeah we’ll see. Already at a disadvantage not having a full staff together with the portal opening. If OM wins it all, you don’t think some of those coaches may think twice about leaving Oxford for Baton Rogue?

What are you talking about? The LSU coaches have all signed term sheets with LSU (with significant liquidated damages clauses) and OM has hired their replacements unless I’m mistaken on the replacements at OM part.

Not stupid.

I'm not crying about it.

We knew what we were getting into when we stole a coach from a team in the middle of a playoff run. Don't want to hear any bitching about how this hurts LSU because you knew this might happen when y'all cheered the hiring of Kiffin.

Hot damn it’s like music to my ears hearing about that offensive staff heading straight to BR after the sugar bowl last night to recruit for us. Especially after that performance they put on last night vs that tough Georgia defense. What a time to be alive guys.

The fact that you can't grasp that the assistants have already signed contracts to coach at LSU, and Ole Miss has already hired replacements, is mind boggling.

How do you feel now?

OM has to pray that this is so because the otics of players and staff scrambling to get out of Oxford amidst a playoff run will last linger than one offseason.

Because the optics of a coaching staff bailing on a championship-caliber team mid season and then mid playoff run is much better?

It is laughable that LSU believes this is looking good for them. Kiffin has always been a snake. Good coach when he gets rolling, but he's a ticking time bomb at every moment. At what point does it not work out for him? Seems like this could be that moment.

Outside of the window licking brain trust of the SECR, it is at worst neutral or no impact on LSU.

Except that the announcers said multiple times the offensive staff coaching OM last night followed Kiffin to BR and are now LSU coaches… which is fantastic PR for LSU to the people who matter most in this.

Yet the story is the om football leadership council voted 6-3 for him to coach through CFP.

Well, that's A story. Is there any truth to it? Also, what did the rest of the team want? You'll notice he didn't coach. If all the players had felt that strongly about it, you can bet he would have been coaching.

Win or not don't matter. Kiffin and that offensive staff will all be in BR FULL time shortly. How many points you think rebs score with a bunch of analyst calling the shots last night?

This just gives Kiffin's offensive staff EXPERIENCE in coaching in BIG time playoff games. That will payoff for LSU in the future.

because Keith Carter has to live in Oxford. he made that decision because he was scared of boosters crying about LSU's coach coaching Ole Miss in the playoffs. Then, he let every other assistant that is following Lane coach Ole Miss in the playoffs.

Most LSU fans on here were too stupid to realize the possible implications of OM continuing to win. A few on the Tiger Rant were getting it.

I was surprised so many on the Rant wanted OM to win. Sorry, but I want my staff intact, and in town, and ready to recruit the portal.

Offensive staff has been commuting between BR and oxford since they reported to LSU as assistant coaches. They NOT full time in oxford. ALL those coaches are OFFENSIVE coaches. They sticking with their MAN.
