That's fair that you're holding Kiffin to the standard of winning a National Championship***At Ole Miss. Let me educate you about something. It's clear you don't know WTF you're talking about, so here goes. Success is relative. If the man is going to win 10ish games at Ole Miss most years, that, sir, is success. If one had a brain, one would think that if Kiffin can win 10 or 11 games at Ole Miss, he should be able to win a Championship at a place like, say, Florida. He's not the same Coach/man he was 10-15 years ago.

Kiffin will never win shite. He’s good enough to keep around. I don’t think he’s a bad coach but it pays to be in high pressure situations early in your coaching career. You know how to respond, make mistakes, learn, etc. He’s literally never faced a high pressure championship or playoff scenario in his 20+ years of coaching. His decisions to constantly be rash and aggressive on 4th down and in poor field decision has cost him numerous victories.

It’s rare you see a coach just wake up after 20+ years and figure it all out. Maybe the NIL and transfer portal does it though.

Why isn't Florida ranked with all those talents on the roster and keep tripping over to get to win 8 games since Dan Mullen been fired.

If Kiffin was good at his job he would still have the job at USC.

From what I’ve read USC was a mess when he took the job, he should have stayed put until the next firing and then jumped. Hind sight and all that.

Finebaum is making a large amount of money doing what he does so I doubt that will have any impact on his approach.

There's a little bit of gloating going on there I think.

ETA: In all seriousness, when Kiffin got to Tennessee he was way too immature to be a head coach. What happened to him at USC humbled him and he learned even more humility, discipline, and maturity working under Saban.
I'll never forget channel surfing during bowl season when the Kiffster was still coach at USC. The Trojans were getting depantsed by some 3rd tier team (can't even remember who) at the Sun Bowl in El Paso...Freshwater was stalking the sidelines with his hoody over his head, pouting like a baby.

Kiffin is the coolest coach there is. Not even close. Bangs absolute rockets. Trolls. Wins enough. Has swag. Doesn’t have a neck size as big as his waist. All you need. It’s so rare to win a title not sure why that’s the standard. Weird Brian Kelly gets a pass and not Lane. I guess unless you count the trophy’s from Grand Valley State haha.

Saban made him walk right before a championship game for being immature.

And Kelly, (with a LSU roster), couldn’t even beat Lane last year, (with an Ole Miss roster). If only Kelly had had a QB***

Is getting drunk before the semifinals a sign of maturity?

I said he’s never won shite in his 20+ years of coaching and will probably never win shite. I also said he isn’t a terrible coach just not a great coach. It took you a paragraph of run on sentences to tell everyone what they already know. Not one thing you said refuted what I said so congratulations on proving my points lmao

Years back I am driving through Alabama on my way to the Coast. Turn on the radio and some dude named Finebaum is talking football. That was my first time hearing him. I did think he was entertaining and some of his callers were beyond description. Where do these people come from? Are they for real?

I watch his show during football season, some times. He does have good guests visit his program. These crazy callers become more than I can tolerate. Being ignorant, loud and obnoxious is no way to go through life.

There is some bad blood between Kiffin and Finebaum. I hope they can get it reconciled.

You don’t listen to Paul for X’s and O’s. Paul is good at reading the tea leaves concerning coaching changes, tension in athletic departments and subtle trends in the sport. He lets the bozo’s call strictly for his entertainment, and ours.
