But ultimately Lane has time and time again displayed a preference for upheaval and chaos and chasing the next big thing over stability and long-term commitment.
That’s not true. He turned down job offers from other schools while at OM.
This time, he opted to take the promotion he earned.
By your logic no one should ever take a promotion with a new, better organization because of loyalty? What an imbecilic take.

Did you not see the way he left the program? He didn't even have a team meeting. He's a pussy.

He's not that self aware.

Lane built that team. Once that team of players are no longer his they will no longer be good. it's not a hard equation to solve.

I think he would feel like an idiot if Ole Miss manages to make the final.
But last night’s game was actually good for LSU. The offense looked really good, and we are of course taking most of that offensive staff.

I didn’t say Lane always jumped at the first offer made but there’s nothing unreasonable I said about Lane either.
There are people out there in all walks of life who are “rolling stones” and attracted to change and the next big thing vs. being content to settle down for the duration. And it’s not like Lane had to worry about his financial future had he stayed in Oxford.
If Lane retires from LSU years from now, I’ll be surprised. That’s not a knock on Kiffin, or LSU.
There’s just people who are like that, whatever their profession might be.

I hope for LSU's sake Kiffin doesn't become Bill Frieder II. That would have an impact on his work in Baton Rouge.

He is thinking he never should have tried alcohol and drugs that “one time.” Or dated Sally.

We don’t get to that game with Kiffin. Even he knew that.

They lost and hoenstly were manhandled by Miami. They didn’t have a shot

LSU fans every day prove to everyone just how fundamentally stupid they are.

So why are people at Ole Miss and in the national media raking Kiffin over the coals for leaving.
By your logic, and the logic of everyone saying Ole Miss was better off without kiffin in the playoffs, he did Ole Miss a favor by leaving.
Pick a damn lane.

Why should he feel like an idiot? He did it for the money, dude...what do ya'll haters do not understand?
Let's say you work for Exxon, a giant company that exudes success and will continue to stay a major business forever. You're making good money and you're quite satisfied with your life. Then the stars align in your favor and a small start up company approaches you to come and work for them doing the same thing you are doing for Exxon. When you see the salary is almost tripled, do you quickly refuse them? Or do you seriously consider the job?
Need I say more?

I hope he feels like an idiot every day. He's rich so I'm not sure he really cares

I don't think he ever feels like an idiot.
This requires you to be self-aware.
