Nice melt.

Like I've said, shite program in a shite city.
It was arguably the worst stretch of football at LSU since the turn of the century and resulted in LSU terminating two different coaches at enormous expense.
….yet LSU still won a division title in that timeframe, while Ole Miss won absolutely nothing during the best run of program history.

We don’t get to that game with Kiffin. Even he knew that.
So why are people at Ole Miss and in the national media raking Kiffin over the coals for leaving.
By your logic, and the logic of everyone saying Ole Miss was better off without kiffin in the playoffs, he did Ole Miss a favor by leaving.
Pick a damn lane.

LSU fans are convinced that Keith Carter is a bad AD. It’s amazing
Well, he failed to retain the best coach in program history. Let said coach string him along while not committing to Ole Miss or signing an extension. Failed to do any sort of coaching search or build a contingency plan when it was obvious Kiffin was leaving.
The cherry on top was that Joe Judge, a former NFL head coach, was passed over for Golding as Lane’s replacement at the 11th hour solely because Carter wanted to stick it to Kiffin and prevent Golding from following him to LSU.
So yes, your AD is very bad.

They’re so absolutely broken. Tonight was their best chance at feeling validated
I think last night was Ole Miss’ best chance at validating the “program” over a single coach and it failed miserably. Lost to a Miami team that committed 100 yards in penalties, missed a FG, dropped four interceptions, lost the turnover battle, and had Mario Cristobal green lighting failed gadget plays when they were running the ball at will.
Everything was there for Ole Miss’ taking and they still couldn’t get it done.

they’re finally feeling what they think is happiness.
We know what happiness feels like.
Hope you can find happiness in your co-third place finish!

OM has a special team.
Didn’t win their conference. Didn’t win a championship.
Got outmaneuvered by Mario fricking Cristobal.
They are “special” alright.

Justices Piper Griffin and John Michael Guidry recommended a suspension without pay for the remainder of Foxworth-Roberts' term, which expires in December 2026. Griffin said the decision "disrupts the public's choice for service in the judiciary." She noted none of the allegations involved decisions Foxworth-Roberts made from the bench.
The insurance company bootlickers can celebrate all they want. We still have three Justices dissenting.

Yes.
We pulled the most successful sitting SEC coach (aside from Kirby Smart) away from his 11-1 team on the eve of the playoffs.
The money guys made the hire possible, but we don’t get it done without Verge leveraging his contacts and playing his cards right. Ole Miss and Florida essentially offered the same financial incentives. The manner in which LSU handled everything was the difference maker.
This was a very different and more organized process behind the scenes than the last two football hires.
