Yeah those were good hauls. But look at the average player ranking. This isn’t really any different than when we were bragging about recruiting ranking when Nutt was bringing in. 30+ recruits.

Now these anti LK people are criticizing his unrelenting work ethic,what a bunch of scared pussies.It bothers the hell out of y’all that your coach is sitting in their offices while Lane ,like NS,is actually doing his job.The potential that he has at LSU is off the charts ,you just better pray that he is overrated.If he isn’t all the SEC will be his bitch,that’s a fact.

See we can agree on something. There are multiple variables at play and using one way to look at a class doesn’t work. All you can say is it’s a very good class. Nothing more nothing less. Counterpoint to player ranking though is having more recruits HURTS your average. Could you imagine is our player ranking was the highest and we had all those recruits? It would be the best class of all time by a wide margin lol.

Too dumb to understand I see - several schools recruit themselves - usually the top 10. I’m sure the HS kids we signed were looking at SF Austin. Bama, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, TAM, ND, etc recruit themselves by brand name.

The retirement of a legend and GOAT, plus the transfers upon little Nicky’s departure, made for a natural downslide in what was known as the Bama Standard. Nobody could have walked into that situation and just kept the same level of play.
I will not, however, refer to it as a decline. A decline is what Ogre left L3U with beginning in 2020. A .500 and a losing season following a natty. DeBoer has not resulted in anything resembling that, but you already knew that.
I freely admit that there’s no excuse for the performance in certain games of the past two years. Bama has flat out stunk several times.
It will interesting to see if CKD will utilize more recruiting high school kids or the portal moving forward.
