I am a little curious how the reaction will be if he’s trolling on Twitter after dropping a game or two he has no business doing (which he’s shown the tendency to do)

Ole Miss hasn't made the playoffs. Nobody has made the playoffs until Dec. 7th.

Great fit at LSU, he kind of has an edge, which fits well. And I think he actually likes to go recruit and evaluate talent. I watch HS football games on Friday night that 2 different channels here in BR and Never have I seen BK at a game, Miles, O, were always there.
Here is an example of what Lane can do at LSU, a 4-star receiver from Lafayette was committed to OU. BK did not offer him
, Lane gets here today and the young man is offered and he is now trending to LSU. Several things this tells me:
1) Lane recruited this 4 star WR from Lafayette at Ole Miss
2) Takes the LSU job and with that title Lane offers the young man and bingo, a top notch Home state LA kid flips from a traditional blue blood program, that is heading to the CFP, to come to LSU
So Lane will in my view sign 15 to 18 kids from Louisiana every year, there are still tons of them who would run through a wall to play for LSU. Then, as Saban said on Gameday yesterday, Lane an use in-state recruiting at LSU to build your roster and then use the Portal to supplement that roster, which he was the best at using it the last 2 years.
Lane signed 25 portal players for 2024, signed 24 for 2025, and he hit on most of them.
