I don't really care about the time of our games but I think part of it is lsu is getting a competitive advantage having their games at night. Think everyone would agree atmospheres are louder and more difficult to play on for opposing teams at night. LSU's two biggest home games this year are against ole Miss and Alabama. Both games are at night and lsu had byes before both games.
It goes both ways, LSU also had to play Bama at night last year on the road and Ole Miss in the evening game on the road.
Caught Arkansas this year at night coming off their bye on the road and A&M at night on the road.

Personally I don't like them as much, but I try to bring a young child and my seat is usually shaded.

they could have put UGA Ole Miss starting as late as 5 or 6
the time changes this weekend so it will be dark at 5
ABC ESPN want ratings so that's why they want both of those games getting max ratings but I'm sorry Ole Miss, LSU BAMA have a history, Ole Miss rarely plays UGA

This ain't no joke. We went to the game at Oxford 8 years ago and were surprised at how little infrastructure there was to support "football tourists". Hell college station had more accomodations when we joined the SEC. I think we ended up staying in Memphis. Ridiculous.

First off, so sick of listening to Lane whine. His shtick is getting old. What’s hilarious is I have a lot of family/friends that went to Ole Miss and I have never heard them complain about not getting night games. You guys traditionally want noon games and have done that forever now. LSU wants night. Is the rest of the conference just now realizing that that might be an advantage? Maybe so. Just sounds like Lane to me is a little pissed off we got the night game because he does not want us to beat Bama. It diminishes his chances. And he knows first hand what Bama is about to face…Deboer has no clue and he knows it.
And one last note, our football team just had to go on the road two weekends in a row to play at night in the SEC. Lane has only done that once…he can stfu.

I would imagine if Ole Miss had beat LSU, they would have had the night game slot vs. Georgia.

Lane is equal to Chicken Little.
His shite is old.

Its not about whats fair. Its about who will be watching and advertising revenue. LSU bama draws alot of eyes. Old Mrs. vs anybody wont come close the viewship numbers.
All about the money.
All about the money.

Well, to be completely fair he hasn't whined about Bama stealing his best "oh my GAWD my LEG FELL OFF" moves.
That's something, I guess.

His young girlfriend is going to realize he’s an old man yelling at clouds if this keeps up.
He’s a whiny douche. LSU doesn’t have a true rival anymore, despite what the conference keeps trying. Forever, we got stuck with Florida as a permanent opponent when there was little chance we were going to beat them while Ole Miss got Vanderbilt.
One thing we, usually, had as a hallmark was night games. And that hasn’t always been a given. Jesus, is it really too much to ask that we get to preserve a major tradition when other things have to be preserved even in this new era of college football?

They should make it fair and scale it out. It's not ok that 2 teams get a vast majority of them and the rest of us eat turds.
Serious question, when did this become a thing for other SEC teams?
I (vaguely) remember some past discussions where other SEC teams said that LSU was too pansy-arse to play in the daytime, and much hay was made about Georgia's success "between the hedges" in daylight hours (for example).
Night games in Tiger Stadium always seemed to me to be a LSU thing, not something other teams cared about one way or the other.
Does it have something to do, now, with TV being the primary way people watch games?

Kiffin cries more than my 2 kids combined.
Good thing he had his Dad to show him the ropes, or he'd be in a halfway house with his bitch outlook on life.

Lots of salty people over Lane telling the truth.

Cry more. Our 2 non rent-a-win games so far have been 230 (UCLA) and 630 (Ole Miss).
We have only had 1 home SEC game so far this year. Alabama will be #2

I always thought you win you get better tv.
like thru the season.
But then ranked teams started playing at 11.
So, I see the games I want to see. Is that the trade off?

They've been putting tons of our biggest home games at 230 for 2 decades with CBS while the worse matchups got night slots.
