There is a hell of a lot more to that story than what you just wrote and you know it.
That dude was out the door for FAU and his gameplans once he knew he had that job (if you can call them that) showed it.
I won't get into all the other stuff he was getting into at that point, but I do think he's matured since going to Ole Miss.

It's alway prudent, imo, to follow the dialouge. That was a response to another post, and the simple point is that it wasn't Kiffin's decision not to coach that final game.

I don't think Kiffin wants to follow Saban. I think he'd be very interested in following the guy Bama fires that followed Saban.

Freeze is just too big of a creep. Good coach, but I don't see him getting another SEC gig. The most I could see him doing is getting a job at some outpost that's not risk averse, like Texas Tech.

I hear that so often but the best coaches are like the elite players. They are confident enough that generally isn’t a concern.

Man, you are a Bammer pretending to be an A&M fan. A&M fans do not give a shite about who coaches at Auburn, but the Bammers fear who is going to coach AU next. I guess they know that AU has the money to keep up with the A&Ms and the Texas of the college world in the future, but if they get a coach to match look out.

Kiffin had already taken the job at FAU or wherever it was and was trying to recruit players and coaches for the new team while still at UA. I think that was the point.
