don’t know why Kiffin is losing it over that poll when the CFP poll hasn’t been very similar to the AP or Coaches poll. I guess he just thinks they will be influenced by it.

Kiffin is losing it because he is an impulsive child.

It’s also why he can’t control his impulses and take the 3 points.

If he could y’all would be in the CFP but he can’t do y’all aren’t.

He's coming to bat for his team, as any coach in the same position would do and have done

The problem with the committee is that they have 3 or 4 resume points to consider and in the end they'll rank the teams and then just say it's the one thing they felt was stronger.

If they choose South Carolina, they'll point to the strong finish.

If they choose Ole Miss, they'll point to the most dominant win over a top team and close losses.

If they choose Alabama, they'll point to Alabama's beating a couple of more top 25 teams and playing a couple of more SP+ Top 40 opponents.

It doesn’t matter. They will put Bama in even though they are least deserving after what happened with Oklahoma. But that won’t matter. I will let you figure out why.

The irony of all of this is that is exactly how I would describe Shane Beamer. Well ... why he didn't take 3s and why he insists on going for it on 4th and short yardage, which is what I think you meant about Kiffin.

And it really cost Beamer against Kiffin.

And why does Beamer feel like he's gotta try some Special Teams trick play stunt every frickin' game? Beamer Ball is overrated at times.

Does Kiffin do that?

So yeah, the irony ...

You can't lose to Kentucky at home and have any sort of legitimate argument. South Carolina has ONLY lost to good teams. Ole Miss and Alabama both have multiple bad losses. If you are going to weigh good wins, then bad losses also have to be held against you.

there is another very vital criteria you're ignoring.

I'm not saying South Carolina deserves it over Ole Miss. But Ole Miss fans act like the head-to-head matchup is the only thing that matters and conveniently ignore their home loss to Kentucky.

Ole Miss beat them by 24 on their own home field.

UK blows goats this year but they beat the Rebs

If you are a national voter, hard to erase that loss.

Lame Kiffin also once said A1shon Jeffery would end up pumping gas if he chose to stay home and play for Carolina instead of sign with Lame and his one and only season before running out on UTK -

Lame was wrong then too -

eta - updated SECCG appearances - A1shon Jeffery SC 1 - Kiffin HC at any SEC school - 0

Maybe don’t lose your Kentucky at home

Doesn’t negate that we beat South Carolina 27-3 at their place

True.... but SC beat Kentucky 31-6 at their place, who beat OM at their place.... and you get into a circle.

The reality is unless the results are consistent, the rankings are all about how the voters interpret the inconsistent results.

I think Ole Miss should be ahead of SC. But Ole Miss's loss to UK is giving voters the ability to interpret thinks against them.

With 3 losses, none actually have a complaint if they don’t get in.
