And if he stayed you’d be talking shite. Shut up.

LSU deserves Lane Kiffin.

Ole miss could've let him coach into the playoffs. Thats on your AD. His offensive staff was coming with him either way. Your AD messed up. This transition could've been way easier. Have CLK make the announcement hes leaving after the season but hes going to coach ole miss in the playoffs, then announce your new head coach, and have him working the recruiting trail and transfer portsl while CLK is coaching in the playoffs. You might have retained some staff and players doing that.

He offered to stay through the playoffs and keep the band together and OM told him to get fricked.
At that point, he's the LSU coach and has to assemble a staff for the early signing period. Not a chance in hell anyone in that position is going to hurt their current employer to help Ole Miss after they declined to let him coach out the season.

Three other SEC programs hired head coaches today and all three new hires were coaching elsewhere last week. And the coach hired by Florida is the coach at Tulane, which will make the playoffs with a win over North Texas next week.
And the only place throwing a public tantrum is Old Miss.

Laugh all you want. Alabama had 2 long runs by 2 transcendent coaches. LSU has better in-state recruiting than Alabama, comparable resources, facilities etc.
Hell, most of those good Saban teams were loaded with Louisiana kids based on relationships he developed here
He'd have won just as much here if he wouldn't have gone to the NFL.

He could’ve stayed and been the greatest coach in rebels history. LSU is going to can him in five years for never winning the conference and losing in the first round of the cfp regularly.

In what world should an Ole Miss AD let the LSU head coach coach them in the playoffs?
None
None

Doesn't make what I'm saying untrue. Alabama and LSU are comparable jobs. Texas is better than both of them though.
