Lane Kiffin has a received a new contract offer from Ole Miss that would make him one of the ten highest paid coaches in college football. It's now a waiting game to see if he will receive an offer from Auburn. More details this afternoon on @SportsTalkMiss starting at 3.

Not sure that's going to cut it if you believe Auburn is offering what they are. Not sure I believe it myself.

Is it still Mississippi state law that contracts can be no longer than four years?

It is, but the loophole is automatic rollover in contracts. It's a stupid law.

Interesting since most lists I can find has him listed as the 11th highest paid. Jimbo is listed as #10. Kiffin should get a bump just for that.

Agents doing work. The best info I've got is that the AD is doing deep background checks on the top candidates and no offer has been made. That could change at any time.

If that’s the case then I guess Freeze can go ahead and show himself out.
