“Gumps are obsessed!” and nothing but Kiffin homerism gets old. This is honest. LSU has a great class but the optics of chasing a recruit that just left campus less than eight hours earlier isn’t a good look, regardless of if he signs with LSU.

I don’t get that at all. Did it with Leavitt and no one cares now that he’s signed. Maybe it’s cause we just came from a super lazy coach that barely knew the recruits names, but I see no issue with it. All he’s doing is working like hell to build his team. I’m still failing to see how that’s bad optics.

Just read the stories about him at Ole Miss following his ex when she broke up with him. Saying he has stalker tendencies isn’t far fetched. I don’t know if there’s separation anxiety or something more.

Talks about optics and doesn’t realize his unhealthy obsession towards Lane is giving the exact same optics. Stop worrying about our coach. Until your coach wants the same recruit Lane does. Then you should def worry about him.

Why jump into the conversation with a lie? The 2 main recruiting sites in 2026 (On3 and 247) had him as the number 1 overall player (much less QB). I get it that Arkansas doesn't recruit at this level but don't come spreading lies.
